Charleston Engagement - Sam & Elizabeth Jones
You know those people that are just made for each other? Sam & Elizabeth are those people. I have known Elizabeth for a long time, and she and Sam have always had the sweetest relationship. They’ve been friends for a long time, and I believe that laid a great foundation for their marriage.
Charleston is Elizabeth’s home away from home, so the three of us made the drive down there to spend the evening together.
We started their session in White Point Garden, which is beautiful no matter the time of day or year.
Growing up, Sam’s dad would bring home Jones soda as a treat so I thought it would be super cute for them to take a few photos with their sodas. I mean after all, they are the Joneses.
After finishing up in White Point Garden, we made our way to the Pineapple Fountain. Of course, we had to make stops along the way.
Everything about this photo is so dreamy 😍
Once we finished in downtown Charleston, we made our way to my favorite place, Folly Beach. I absolutely love photographing at the Lighthouse Inlet, the lighting here is always stunning, and it’s fairly secluded which I think makes for more intimate photos.
Oh so steamy 🔥
On the way home, we stopped at one of their favorite local restaurants and enjoyed a delicious meal together. It was the best evening because it was just friends hanging out, getting a few pictures taken, and having some great conversation. All the things my heart loves.
Next week, Sam & Elizabeth’s wedding will be on the blog, so make sure to check back. Believe me when I tell you, this was one beautiful wedding.
