Halloween Elopement - Blue & Lauren Thomas
How’d you spend your Halloween 2020? Me, I spent it photographing Blue & Lauren’s elopement!
As a wedding photographer, I have always wanted to photograph an elopement, so when Blue and Lauren told me that they were eloping, I was delighted!
Their elopement ceremony took place at a tree house in West Columbia.
The nature of an elopement is intimacy, but their ceremony was the most touching, heartfelt, and intimate one of which I ever got to be a part. It was just us and God.
In Blue’s vows, he quoted Lilo & Stitch, "Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten." And I truly believe that in that moment, Blue & Lauren became family.
There were tears everywhere, and I was a-okay with it.
After their ceremony, I took them to one of my most favorite spots along the river, and Lauren’s sister brought sweet Momo to get in on a few photos.
They finished their evening out with a pizza picnic that includes some sweets and a few good drinks.
Blue and Lauren, this was the best Halloween I have ever had, truly. Getting to photograph an elopement was a dream come true, and y’all’s has set the bar very high. Love you guys both!
