Engagement Session - TK Fowler & Jenni Austin
TK and Jenni's engagement session was my last session of 2017. As I was photographing them, I couldn't help but be extra thankful for attending the University of South Carolina. I'm thankful that I went to college for art and took a ceramics class where I made a friend named Jenni. While Jenni and I were in class together, she would often talk about this guy that she was smitten by. They were dating at the time, and she was just waiting for the day that he would pop the question. Well, in December of 2017, TK asked Jenni to be his wife!
Jenni reached out to me shortly after they got engaged to inquire about wedding photography. When I opened the email, I was ecstatic, and we quickly set up their engagement session. The morning of their session came and the drizzle outside made me nervous, but we looked at the weather and it was supposed to clear by the afternoon. We took a chance on the weather, and I'm so glad that we did because the day ended up being gorgeous!
Our afternoon started out at Hollow Creek Tree Farm, and then we headed to some of my friend's property and photographed until the sun went down. It was an evening full of laughter, catching up, dancing, and I even got to meet and photograph their two pups, Jax and Titus. Now, I'm just patiently waiting for October to show up. A fall wedding in the mountains of North Carolina, seriously, what could be better?
TK and Jenni, congratulations again on getting engaged, may this season of engagement and wedding planning be one that is treasured forever.
